I AM
Isolde
Steps of Lapis
Isolde Monarch-Bloodsworth (they/them) is a non-binary visionary artist, composer, and esoteric practitioner whose transformative work bridges opera, mixed-media collage, and sacred healing. With a BM from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (2005), they debuted as Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte (2004), formally known as mezzo-soprano Elspeth Kincaid, launching a decade of acclaimed performances. As a Resident Artist at the Academy of Vocal Arts (2005–2008), Isolde shone in roles like Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Varvara (Katya Kabanova), earning accolades at Operalia (2008) and the AVA Bel Canto Competition (2007). Their international vocal journey, spanning Paris to Seoul, transitioned into holistic childcare in NYC (2010–2020), blending Reiki and autism support for high-profile families.
Now, as founder of Steps of Lapis, Isolde channels Light Language into the forthcoming Major Arcana Visionary Oracle Deck (2025), a 22-piece mixed-media series with chants reimagining Tarot through gender fluidity and sacred geometry. Their ceremonies and workshops—praised for opening “portals to ancestral wisdom” (Participant Testimonial)—foster queer resilience and anti-pharmaceutical wellness. Featured on Saatchi Art and guided by a Sacred Plant Medicine Facilitation Certification, Isolde’s practice honors sacred parenting: “Nothing is more profound than the bond between parent and child.”
